With over 30 years of leadership development practice, we have found three key challenges facing today’s workplaces:

  1. Many leaders have never received leadership training, yet are expected to lead

  2. Managers and supervisors have the potential to become great leaders, however lack the training to realize their leadership potential

JumpStart Your Leadership I provides today’s leaders—whether seasoned or new—with the necessary training, tools and techniques to become an effective leader who gets faster results at reaching organizational goals by leading a stronger, more capable workforce.

Program flow

JumpStart Your Leadership I is a comprehensive leadership development program based on one key concept: that learning to be a leader is not a singular event, but a process.

One day per month

Content is distributed over six days so that leaders have a chance to learn, discuss, deliberate and apply.

Assignments

Course studies include behavioral style assessments, practical assignments, reading assignments of books and articles to read, as well as group conference calls with the facilitator for critical accountability updates.

Learning that sticks

JumpStart Your Leadership I is designed to incorporate multiple learning modalities so learning occurs in the student as well as from their peers, fellow attendees and the facilitator. Interactive learning includes role plays, panel discussions, case studies, facilitated debate and critical thinking exercises to help improve learning and retention.
